    Hi Trish ,

Peter gave me your blog , congratulations it is really cool and the recipes look easy to follow , I would like to cook the Seco de Cordero , do you know where to get the aji paste ?
there is a small Colombian cafe in Surry hills , it is called cafe con leche , it is really good , they sell traditional Colombian food incluiding the arepas , ajiaco , caldo de costilla , tamales . Go and visit , they are really friendly
    cheers ,

    • Thanks Lynn!
You can get Aji paste from a few places, one is La Cocina Peruana in Randwick, which is a Peruvian restaurant, or La Cumbia the Columbian restaurant in Kensington (however they are very rude and charge $5 to use cc). I will definitely hit up Cafe con Leche soon. Have you been to the new Argentinean bakery in Ultimo on Harris St called Baker Street?
The Seco de Cordero is amazing, so please let me know how you like it, have you ever eaten it before?

    • Tell Dad how it goes next week! I will be able to go out and try Cafe con Leche in a couple of weeks once uni is done…and then I can continue cooking and putting up recipes, I just have not had time in the final month.

    • Oh I’m so glad you liked it, and not that hard is it?
So they sold Aji Amarillo from the video shop? That is hilarious! You can use it in many other Peruvian dishes especially ceviche which would be perfect now that the weather is heating up!
